This site hosts the web-based training for the homeland security risk management program.  This program was designed to provide consistent training on core homeland security risk management topics and enable you to develop knowledge and skills to use risk to shape strategic, operational, and tactical decisions.

If this is your initial visit, you must first register by clicking on the “First time user?” link to complete the registration form and receive access to the web-based training.  If you are a returning user, simply login with the user name and password you created during your registration.

You must complete the pre-test before reviewing the main course.  Additionally, you must review all of the main course material before taking the post-test.

The courses are designed to work with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Adobe Flash Plug-in and Acrobat Reader are also required to view the course material.

ALERT! Please note that there is a known issue in Java 6.22 that may cause incompatibility with some applications including Learning Management Systems such as this one. Any user with this version of Java will not have their pre-tests, courses, or post-tests tracked properly. If you are running Java 6.22, please upgrade to a more recent version.

Additionally, there is a know compatibility issue with Flash and Internet Explorer 9. If you are experiencing issues with the course loading properly and are running IE9, please go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83715.html for directions on a possible resolution. If this solution does not work, please call Adobe for additional assistance.
